John Defayette is an urban Victoria, B.C., beekeeper and naturalist. He encourages everyone to explore the benefits and fascination of beekeeping. He has written a book entitled "B's Honey -- Using Bee Products for a Natural Lifestyle" which includes apitherapy (bee stings), beeswax, honey, mead, pollen and propolis recipes. John sold honey and bee products at fairs and farmers' markets; he recently retired from Beekeeping in BC.
